Boyd Richards Parker & Colonnelli, P.L., a fast-growing civil defense law firm of 70 lawyers with more than 20 years of service to corporate, insurance, and individual clients, seeks experienced Associate Attorneys with 3–10 years of litigation experience for its Fort Lauderdale office.
The role offers the opportunity to litigate a variety of premises liability, product liability, construction defect and injury, public entity and civil rights, and commercial auto and trucking cases, among others, for a roster that includes Fortune 500 clients. The attorney manages their own cases from inception to trial, with direct client and carrier contact, and assists senior associates and partners on general liability matters.
Responsibilities
Manage caseload from inception to post-trial
Attend court conferences, oral arguments, depositions, mediations, and trials
Prepare pleadings, discovery and discovery responses, motions, and other litigation documents
Prepare timely reports on case status and ongoing activities
Prioritize workload based on deadlines; meet billing requirements (approx. 2,000 billable hours annually)
Communicate effectively with clients, senior attorneys, and paralegals
Qualifications
Member in good standing of the Florida Bar (required — out-of-state candidates will not be considered); federal District Court admission a plus
Must be a practicing Florida attorney
3–10 years of litigation experience
Excellent verbal and written communication skills; detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
Familiarity with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook; knowledge of Aderant Expert Sierra a plus.

Salary : $110,000 - $210,000
