Duties

• Represent clients in a broad range of commercial and business litigation matters.

• Handle cases through all phases of litigation, from initial pleadings through trial or settlement.

• Conduct detailed legal research and develop effective litigation strategies.

• Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, discovery requests, and other litigation documents.

• Advise clients regarding legal rights, business risks, and litigation strategy.

• Participate in negotiations, mediations, and settlement discussions.

• Prepare witnesses and clients for depositions, hearings, and trial proceedings.

• Attend court hearings, case management conferences, and trial proceedings.

• Collaborate with attorneys and litigation support staff to ensure efficient case management.

• Maintain strong client communication while managing multiple active litigation matters.

Requirements

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.

• Active Florida Bar license.

• Minimum 4 years of commercial or business litigation experience.

• Experience handling complex business disputes from inception through resolution.

• Strong legal research, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.

• Excellent written and oral advocacy skills.

• Ability to independently manage multiple litigation files.

• Strong client communication and relationship management skills.
