Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Tractor & Trailer Technician to join our service team. This role is responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining tractor-trailers and other fleet vehicles to ensure safe and efficient operations. The ideal candidate will have strong mechanical aptitude, troubleshooting skills, and experience working with diesel engines, braking systems, electrical systems, and hydraulics.
Duties
- Perform routine maintenance, inspections, and repairs on tractor-trailers and fleet vehicles, including engines, transmissions, brakes, suspensions, and electrical systems.
- Conduct preventive maintenance inspections to ensure vehicle safety and reliability.
- Execute annual vehicle inspections in accordance with CFR 49, Part 396; ensuring compliance with federal regulations.
- Maintain accurate maintenance records and documentation of work performed
- Perform related duties as assigned
- Requirements
- 2 years relevant experience - Basic knowledge of diesel engines, electrical systems, air brakes, and hydraulic systems
Education - High school diploma or equivalent
Pay: $22.00 - $23.00 per hour
