As we continue to grow, we are looking to add a Personal Lines New Business Coordinator to support our new business process and help create a smooth, organized experience for prospective clients.
About the Role
The Personal Lines New Business Coordinator supports the Personal Lines team by assisting with prospect intake, data entry, property and risk research, rating, and carrier quoting. This person helps ensure that each new business opportunity is complete, accurate, and ready for review by the appropriate Account Executive or Client Risk Advisor.
This role may also assist with remarketing current client accounts to alternate carriers when needed. This includes helping gather updated information, researching risk details, entering information into rating platforms, and supporting the team in obtaining competitive carrier options for renewal reviews.

Key Responsibilities
Prospect Intake & Information Gathering
- Gather information from prospective clients in a professional and welcoming manner
- Collect details needed for quoting, including home, auto, driver, prior insurance, and coverage information
- Ask follow-up questions to help ensure files are complete and accurate
System Entry & File Setup
- Enter prospect information into InsuredMine
- Help maintain organized prospect and quote files
- Document notes, missing information, underwriting concerns, and file updates clearly
Property & Risk Research
- Research property and risk details such as year built, square footage, roof information, ownership details, vehicle information, and other underwriting factors
- Identify missing information or potential concerns that may impact quoting
- Organize research findings for Account Executive or Client Risk Advisor review
PL Rater & Carrier Quoting Support
- Enter accurate information into PL Rater and carrier systems
- Prepare home, auto, umbrella, and other personal lines quotes for review
- Help ensure quote details match the information provided by the prospect
- Support the team in moving new business opportunities through the quoting process in a timely manner
Current Client Remarketing Support
- Assist with remarketing current client accounts to alternate carriers when needed
- Help gather updated information for renewal reviews and remarketing opportunities
- Enter updated information into PL Rater and/or carrier systems
- Help prepare alternate carrier quotes for Account Executive review
Team Support & Communication
- Communicate clearly with Account Executives, Client Risk Advisors, and leadership regarding quote and remarket file status
- Help prioritize new business and remarketing opportunities based on urgency and team direction
- Support a team-first culture by being proactive, reliable, and willing to help where needed

Qualifications
- Prior personal lines insurance experience preferred
- Active Tennessee Property & Casualty Insurance License preferred, or willingness to obtain
- Experience with AMS360, InsuredMine, PL Rater, or carrier rating platforms preferred
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Comfortable working in multiple systems and carrier portals
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
- Professional and client-focused communication style
- Self-starter who is willing to ask questions, think critically, and take ownership of assigned tasks
- Familiarity with personal lines products, including home, auto, umbrella, flood, and excess liability, is a plus
