Position Summary
The General Laborer is responsible for performing all interior finishes on units. This includes installing insulation, wood frames, luan panels, base cove, and countertops according to the blueprints. This role is ideal for someone with foundational construction skills who is eager to learn, follow direction, and grow within the trade.
Key Responsibilities
· Read and interpret shop drawings/ blueprints.
· Install batting or foam board insulation.
· Assist with installing wood framing.
· Install luan panels and trim on walls and ceilings.
· Install base cove along interior wall perimeters, ensuring clean, level, and secure placement.
· Assist with installing countertops, including cutting, securing, and finishing edges.
· Use basic hand tools and power tools such as drills, tape measure, saws, and nail guns.
· Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
· Follow all company safety and company policies.
Qualifications
· High school diploma or GED required.
· 2 years of construction experience.
· Ability to read blueprints and measurement tools accurately.
· Familiarity with hand and power tools
· Ability to lift up to 50lbs. and work in a manufacturing environment.
· Reliable, detail-oriented, and able to work independently or as part of a team.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $23.00 per hour
