System Engineer (MSP Experience Required)

Systems Engineer T2.5 (MSP Experience Required) - Hybrid in Baltimore, MD

Are you a seasoned Systems Administrator looking for your next challenge in a fast-moving, team-oriented MSP environment? A well-established and growing IT services firm headquartered in Baltimore is searching for a strong Tier 2 professional with sharp troubleshooting skills and a deep understanding of modern infrastructure. This is a hybrid role with three days per week in the Baltimore office and the rest remote.

In this role, you'll serve as the escalation point for complex technical issues across Azure, M365, and networking environments. From handling advanced firewall configurations to administering Azure Entra ID and Intune, you’ll be working hands-on with cutting-edge tools to support a wide range of clients. Your day-to-day will be filled with problem-solving, change requests, system documentation, and collaborating with internal teams to implement best practices and deliver top-tier client experiences.

Day to Day:

• 3 years in an MSP or client-facing IT environment
• Advanced skills with Azure, Entra ID (Azure AD), M365, and Intune
• Strong networking experience: VLANs, DNS/DHCP, VPN, and SonicWall or similar firewalls
• Proficiency with VMware and/or Hyper-V
• Solid grasp of Windows Server (2016-2022)
• Logical, methodical approach to troubleshooting
• Clear communicator and team player with excellent documentation habits
