We are a people-first Managed Services Provider with a Microsoft-focused approach to IT. As we continue to grow, we are looking for a Senior System Administrator / Technical Alignment Engineer to serve as the trusted technical partner for one of our largest clients in Los Angeles. This is a client-facing, onsite position where you’ll spend most of your time embedded with the customer, working directly in their environment, with occasional visits to our headquarters.
This role is highly technical and hands-on. You’ll ensure client environments stay aligned to best practices, deploy and configure new technology, identify recurring problems, and drive lasting improvements. What You’ll Do
- Provide dedicated onsite support and act as the technical point of contact for your assigned client
- Perform proactive audits, documentation, and monthly changes to ensure environments remain optimized
- Implement and configure Microsoft 365, Azure AD, Windows Server, and networking solutions
- Deploy workstations, laptops, printers, and local infrastructure hardware/software
- Participate in long-term problem management by identifying root causes and implementing permanent fixes
- Contribute to client onboarding and project rollouts to ensure smooth adoption and alignment with standards
- Represent the MSP brand with professionalism while building strong client relationships
What You Bring
- 5 years of IT support, systems administration, or consulting experience
- Prior experience working with an MSP or IT services firm in a client-facing role
- Proficiency in Microsoft 365, Azure AD, Windows Server, and core networking concepts
- Familiarity with PSA/RMM platforms such as ConnectWise
- Strong organizational skills and ability to work independently onsite
- Relevant certifications (CompTIA, Microsoft, ITIL) are a plus, with salary increases available for new certifications
