Do you have experience in virtual therapy, utilizing proven digital techniques for effective online sessions? We are seeking a Fully-Licensed Online Counselor to join our dynamic virtual team and deliver high-quality mental health care through telehealth platforms. This role offers an exciting opportunity to provide psychotherapy, crisis intervention, and specialized counseling services to diverse client populations, including adolescents and adults. The ideal candidate will be passionate about making a positive impact, possess a broad skill set in clinical counseling modalities, and have a desire to grow professionally in other states.
- Conduct comprehensive intake assessments and diagnostic evaluations using ICD-9 and ICD-10 coding standards.
- Provide individual counseling utilizing evidence-based approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), and Internal Family Systems (IFS).
- Implement crisis management protocols to support clients experiencing acute mental health emergencies.
- Utilize telehealth technology effectively to deliver engaging and confidential therapy sessions.
- Document all patient interactions accurately in compliance with HIPAA regulations and maintain detailed medical records.
- Collaborate with case management teams to develop personalized treatment plans tailored to each client’s needs.
- Engage in clinical research and data collection efforts to enhance treatment outcomes and service quality.
- Valid licensure as a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor (LCMHC), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Clinical Psychologist (PhD or PsyD), or equivalent.
- Proven experience in psychotherapy (anxiety, depression, trauma), crisis intervention, grief counseling, mindfulness techniques, life transitions.
- Strong knowledge of ICD coding (ICD-9/ICD-10), CPT coding, medical terminology, and medical documentation standards.
- Experience with telehealth platforms and delivering remote patient care effectively.
- The ability to use evidence-based, remote therapeutic modalities to assist individuals in navigating life's challenges, including anxiety, depression, and trauma.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to manage complex cases involving trauma such as PTSD or chronic pain.
