Transmission Builder – Join the Elite Team at Bowler Performance
Bowler Performance Transmissions is growing, and we're actively searching for a skilled, motivated Transmission Builder who takes pride in true craftsmanship. If you're tired of assembly-line work, corner-cutting, or "good enough" — you'll fit in perfectly here.
About the Role
We need someone with hands-on transmission and hydraulic experience who can take a unit from teardown to final QC with precision and pride. You'll work with the performance transmissions that define our industry:
- Automatic: 4L80E, 4L60E, 4R70W, 700-R4, 6L80E, 10L90E, 6R80E, 10R80E
- Manual: Tremec T-56 Magnum, TKO, TKX
This is aftermarket performance building, not basic OEM rebuilding.

What We're Looking For
- Experience with transmissions and a working understanding of hydraulics
- Ability to manage a full build from teardown to final QC
- Extreme attention to cleanliness and detail
- Strong work ethic and ability to meet deadlines
- Comfortable speaking with customers
- Basic computer skills
- Must provide your own basic hand tools (we provide all specialty tools)
