What are the responsibilities and job description for the Shrimp Hatchery Laborer position at Bowers Hatchery LLC?
Employees will be responsible for feeling shrimp brood stock and post larve shrimp, assist management in cultivating algae and maintaining water quality throughout the facility, cleaning and minor repair and maintenance on equipment, cleaning and sanitizing, harvesting eggs, pl's and preparing for shipments to customers and any other duties that may arise in the various hatchery process. Employees will report directly to the hatchery manager for all assignments and duties. Drug tests may be done post-hire at no cost to the workers to ensure worker safety and keep in compliance with workers compensation guidelines. Testing positive or failure to comply may result in immediate termination. Workers must abide by all posted safety and work rules. All workers must be physically able to perform all duties described.
