Job Summary:
The Marketing Manager will lead marketing efforts for all Bowerman brands and locations—including the farm store, café, seasonal events, and catering. This role blends strategic planning with hands-on execution, and is ideal for someone who is both creative and organized, with a strong understanding of content, social media, branding, and community engagement.

- Content Creation and Digital Story Telling
- Maintain a consistent brand voice that captures the spirit of the farm, and engages our audience year-round.
- Produce high quality content for Meta, TikTok, and YouTube, and act as the brand’s on-camera personality for social platforms or local news segments.
- Manage email newsletter, website, and blog to drive engagement and sales.
- Coordinate seasonal promotions, product launches, and special events marketing by designing physical marketing material (flyers, rack cards, table tents, in-store signage, etc).
- Support photography and video content creation—either in-house or with local creatives.
- Strategic Marketing & Budget Management
- Develop and manage an integrated marketing plan that supports all areas of the business (farm, café, events, products, etc.) based on a provided budget.
- Manage traditional advertising channels (billboards, radio, print ads, etc.).
- Collaborate with the management teams in weekly meetings to ensure timely promotion of what’s fresh, fun, or in-season.
- Build relationships with press, partners, and community organizations for cross-promotional opportunities.
- Respond promptly to website inquiries, reviews, and social media messages or direct messages to employees who can answer questions.
- Performance and Growth (KPIs)
- Optimize website content to increase organic search and monitor web traffic (SEO management).
- Track and report on key performance metrics (email open rates, social media engagement, foot traffic, etc.).
- Drive consistent growth of the email list and social media following.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- 3 years of experience in marketing, communications, or content creation (experience in food, retail, or hospitality is a plus).
- Familiarity with social media platforms (Meta, TikTok, YouTube), email marketing tools (like Constant Contact), website management (Wix or similar), and content creation tools (Canva or similar).
- Experience with aspects of selling online to include listing, updating and maintaining product listings.
- Flexibility and eagerness to jump into other side projects and seasonal adventures!
- Able to lift 50lbs, stand on your feet for long periods of time, and have reliable transportation to and from work.
