We are seeking a Assistant Interior Designer with a minimum of three years of professional design experience to join our team. They should demonstrate a strong aesthetic eye, particularly when reviewing bids, drawings, and material proposals to ensure alignment with the design vision. This role requires confidence in client interactions, thoroughness in documentation, and the ability to manage projects from concept through installation while maintaining a calm, professional, and polite demeanor. Responsibilities/Requirements:
- Assist on design concepts, space planning, and material selections for residential projects
- Review bids, proposals, and shop drawings with a refined aesthetic eye to ensure alignment with design intent
- Help manage client communication with professionalism, clarity, and a polished demeanor
- Assist overseeing project timelines, budgets, and procurement workflows
- Source furnishings, finishes, fixtures, and materials, including vendor coordination and pricing
- Prepare design presentations, mood boards, and detailed documentation
- Conduct site visits, walk-throughs, and installation oversight
- Maintain organized project files, samples, and internal design documentation
- Collaborate with contractors, trades, and team members to ensure execution meets standards
- Ensure all design work reflects the studio’s aesthetic, quality level, and brand standards
