Maintenance Technician
Bowden Manufacturing is seeking a skilled, hands-on Maintenance Technician to support the reliability and performance of our production equipment, facilities, and infrastructure. This role is critical to minimizing downtime, maintaining safe operations, and supporting continuous improvement across the shop.
This position is ideal for a mechanically and electrically strong technician who enjoys troubleshooting, working on the floor, and taking ownership of equipment performance.
What You’ll Do
- Perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on production equipment and facility systems
- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic issues
- Respond to maintenance requests quickly to minimize equipment downtime
- Partner with Production and Engineering to resolve technical issues and support operational goals
- Document maintenance work, inspections, and safety checks per company procedures
- Support equipment installations, relocations, and upgrades
- Participate in continuous improvement efforts focused on reliability and efficiency
- Monitor spare parts inventory and communicate tooling or reorder needs
- Follow OSHA and company safety requirements, maintaining a clean and safe work environment
- Support planned shutdowns and scheduled maintenance projects
Qualifications
- U.S. Citizenship required
- 5 years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment
- Previous experience working with Haas CNC Equipment
- Strong working knowledge of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, electrical schematics, and technical manuals
- Experience using CMMS or ERP systems to track work orders and maintenance history
- Working knowledge of OSHA standards and industrial safety practices
- Strong troubleshooting skills, attention to detail, and follow-through
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- Willingness to work flexible hours or overtime during shutdowns or emergency repairs
- Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and desire to continue learning
