Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Maintenance Technician to support the upkeep and performance of our production equipment, facilities, and infrastructure. This hands-on role is critical to ensuring optimal equipment reliability, minimizing downtime, and supporting continuous improvement efforts across our operation. The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical and electrical background, a solid understanding of manufacturing systems, and a proactive approach to problem-solving and preventive maintenance.
What You’ll Do:
- Perform preventive, corrective, and predictive maintenance on production machinery, tools, and facility systems.
- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic equipment issues.
- Respond to maintenance requests in a timely manner to minimize equipment downtime.
- Collaborate with production and engineering teams to support operational goals and resolve technical issues.
- Document maintenance activities, safety checks, and repairs in accordance with company procedures.
- Assist with equipment installations, relocations, and upgrades as needed.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives focused on enhancing equipment reliability and operational efficiency.
- Monitor inventory of spare parts and communicate needs for reorder or special tools.
- Follow all OSHA and company safety regulations, maintaining a clean and safe work environment.
- Provide support during planned equipment shutdowns and participate in scheduled maintenance projects.
Qualifications:
- U.S. Citizenship required
- Minimum 5 years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment
- Strong working knowledge of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems
- Demonstrated ability to read and interpret blueprints, electrical schematics, and technical manuals
- Comfortable using CMMS or ERP systems to track work orders and maintenance history
- Familiar with OSHA standards and safety protocols in an industrial setting
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, hands-on environment
- Willingness to work flexible hours or overtime as needed during shutdowns or emergency repairs
- Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and eagerness to learn new systems or skills
