CNC Mill/Lathe Operator
2nd shift: 3:15pm- 11:45pm
Job Overview
We are seeking motivated CNC Machinists to join our growing team. Whether you are early in your machining career or bring years of hands-on experience, this role offers the opportunity to produce high-quality precision parts while continuing to build your skills.
In this position, you’ll work with CNC equipment to support a variety of industries and be part of a team that values precision, safety, teamwork, and continuous improvement.
What You’ll Do
- Operate CNC mills and/or lathes to manufacture precision parts that meet or exceed quality standards.
- Set up machines for pre-programmed jobs, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and repeatability.
- Document setup procedures and production processes to support consistency and continuous improvement.
- Adjust tool offsets, work coordinates, and machine parameters as needed.
- Design or modify custom fixturing to support production and improve efficiency.
- Monitor tooling conditions and replace worn tools to maintain part quality and minimize downtime.
- Perform in-process inspections using precision measuring instruments.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Perform routine machine maintenance and report equipment concerns promptly.
- Collaborate with team members to support production goals and overall shop success.
Qualifications
- U.S. Citizenship required.
- Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Strong work ethic with a positive, team-oriented attitude.
- Willingness to learn, grow, and take on new responsibilities.
- Effective communication skills and the ability to work well within a team.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform repetitive tasks as required.
- Solid mechanical aptitude and technical skills related to CNC machining.
- Experience with inspection and metrology tools is a plus, or a willingness to learn.
