Equipment Technician

SUMMARY:

Ensure the normal operation of front-end equipment. Deal with equipment abnormalities in a timely manner.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Ensure that all front-end equipment is functioning normally and perform necessary calibration and commissioning of the equipment.
• Conduct the commissioning of the equipment for qualified products based on requirements from production, quality and process.
• Perform routine maintenance of equipment to ensure proper operation, make quick diagnosis and fix as much as possible when equipment malfunctions, or contact professional repair.
• Operate in strict accordance with the safety regulations of the check-in equipment, wear appropriate personal protective equipment, and be able to quickly take appropriate countermeasures in the event of equipment emergencies.
• Record abnormal data of each machine for data support for subsequent equipment optimization.
• Provide necessary technical support and training for new equipment personnel.
• Complete other work tasks assigned by the supervisor.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE/SKILLS:

Education:

• Associate degree in science and engineering related disciplines such as physics, electronics and mechanical.

Experience:

• Minimum 2 years of related experience.
• Proficient in using all kinds of mechanical maintenance tools.
• Proficient in operating and maintaining front-end equipment in solar industry.

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:

• Familiar with management system and methods of manufacturing equipment.
