Workers Comp Attorney Responsibilities
- Collaborate with partners, senior attorneys, paralegals, and legal assistants
- Handle assigned matters with oversight
- Assist with cases from inception to post-trial
- Communicate with clients regarding case status
- Participate in court appearances and mediation
- Prepare pleadings, motions, and litigation documents
- Review and respond to discovery requests
- Conduct research as required by each case
- Perform direct and cross-examinations of expert witnesses at trial
- 2 years of Workers’ Compensation experience
- Excellent analytical, written, and oral communication skills
- Self-starter with a proactive approach
- Flexibility to work with multiple attorneys is preferred
