Wellfield Technician Responsibilities
- Operate and maintain the landfill gas wellfield during assigned shifts to ensure compliance with operating permits and safety standards
- Record daily logs and readings as per prescribed protocols
- Follow safety policies and procedures, utilizing personal protective equipment at all times
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, including control rooms and facilities
- Document wellhead readings and coordinate corrective actions to ensure compliance
- Assist in operational planning for construction projects and gas collection field expansions
- Perform analytical tests and maintain calibration records for equipment
- Minimum of 1 year experience with industrial equipment, preferably in a hands-on capacity
- Willingness to engage in hands-on tasks related to equipment maintenance
- Equivalent military experience may be considered
- Basic mechanical, electrical, or instrumentation knowledge is required
- Graduates from trade schools or those with automotive maintenance experience are encouraged to apply
- Strong mechanical and systems aptitude is essential
- Ability to service, rebuild, and maintain industrial pumps and equipment is preferred
- Experience with pneumatic systems is preferred
- Troubleshooting and problem-solving skills are preferred
- Understanding of landfill gas collection systems is preferred
- Ability to adapt to various tasks and work independently is preferred
- Strong communication skills for documentation and reporting are preferred
