Title Officer Responsibilities
- Review title searches, commitments, and reports for accuracy
- Identify liens, judgments, easements, and other title issues
- Clear title by collaborating with internal teams, attorneys, and outside parties
- Prepare and review title commitments and related documents
- Communicate effectively with real estate agents, lenders, buyers, and sellers
- Ensure files are compliant and ready for closing
- Resolve problems that could delay or prevent closing
- Maintain organized and accurate files throughout the process
- 2 years of experience in title, escrow, or real estate transactions
- Strong understanding of title reports, liens, and property records
- High school diploma
- Oklahoma Title Insurance Producer License
- Proficiency in any title software, as well as Microsoft Word and Outlook
- Experience in the title industry
- A bachelor's degree is preferred
