Position Title: Process Technician

The Process Technician plays a crucial role in troubleshooting and resolving issues on the production floor. This position requires a strong understanding of photonic and optomechanical production processes. The technician must be capable of independently diagnosing problems with minimal assistance. The role demands a higher level of expertise than that of a Production Operator, as the technician will be expected to observe, analyze, and rectify technical issues effectively. Process Technician Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot equipment and processes independently
• Analyze and resolve basic technical issues on the production floor
• Support operators by providing guidance and solutions
• Maintain a high standard of quality in manufacturing processes
• Collaborate with team members to enhance production efficiency
  
  

Process Technician Requirements

• Photonic or optomechanical production experience is required
• Ability to troubleshoot equipment effectively is required
• Strong observational and analytical skills are required
• Detail-oriented with good problem-solving capabilities is preferred
• Able to train others and share knowledge is preferred
• Familiarity with welding machines, alignment stations, and fiber optic equipment is preferred
