Position Title: Mid-Level SharePoint / Power Platform Developer

Build real solutions in a mission-critical Microsoft environment where your technical expertise will have a direct impact. A growing federal technology contractor is seeking a Mid-Level SharePoint / Power Platform Developer to support a U.S. Treasury SharePoint and Microsoft Power Platform environment in Washington, DC. This role is heavily focused on hands-on development, with approximately 60% of the position dedicated to building and customizing new solutions across SharePoint, Power Apps, Power Automate, and Power BI.

The ideal candidate is a technically strong, hands-on developer who can take ownership of projects, troubleshoot complex issues, and find creative solutions within the constraints of a classified federal environment. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who wants to spend the majority of their time building and solving technical problems while working directly alongside an experienced SharePoint architect and technical leader.

Pay Range: $55 - $65 / hour DOE

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and customize solutions across SharePoint and Microsoft Power Platform, including Power Apps, Power Automate, and Power BI
• Take ownership of new development projects and translate technical requirements into functional, scalable solutions
• Support an upcoming SharePoint migration by executing technical components while partnering with senior leadership on the overall migration strategy
• Maintain and enhance the SharePoint environment, sites, Teams, and existing applications as business requirements evolve
• Troubleshoot SharePoint and Power Platform issues and provide Tier 2/3 technical support for users
• Enhance user-built solutions when requirements exceed basic Power Platform self-service capabilities
• Develop creative technical workarounds when standard Microsoft capabilities or premium connectors are unavailable within the classified environment

Requirements

• Recent Top Secret clearance with the ability to complete required government security processing
• Minimum of 5 years of strong SharePoint development experience, with approximately 6-9 years preferred for this mid-level position
• Hands-on development experience with Microsoft Power Apps, Power Automate, and Power BI
• Demonstrated ownership of SharePoint and Power Platform projects, with the ability to clearly discuss solutions personally built or materially delivered
• Strong troubleshooting skills with the ability to provide Tier 2/3 SharePoint and Power Platform support
• Ability to remain composed, patient, and solutions-focused while working through technical constraints and government processes
• Ability and willingness to work 100% onsite in Washington, DC from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM ET, Monday through Friday
