We are seeking a Maintenance Planner to develop executable maintenance work packages, coordinate daily and weekly schedules, and ensure technicians have the materials, permits, parts, and information needed to complete work safely and efficiently. This role will support preventive and predictive maintenance, inventory readiness, and maintenance scheduling while partnering closely with engineering, production, quality, and supply chain teams.
The ideal candidate has 2–3 years of maintenance planning and scheduling experience in a mechanical or manufacturing environment, strong technical skills, and the ability to stay organized while balancing multiple priorities and personalities.
Salary Range: $85,000 - $115,000 / Year, DOE

Responsibilities
- Plan and schedule daily, weekly, and monthly maintenance activities based on plant priorities and production requirements
- Prepare complete maintenance work packages including job scope, required materials, parts, permits, and supporting documentation
- Kit maintenance jobs in advance to ensure technicians have everything needed before work begins
- Coordinate preventive and predictive maintenance activities to improve equipment reliability and minimize disruptions
- Maintain spare parts and maintenance inventory, including accurate records of materials and their locations
- Create, maintain, and track service work orders within the CMMS
- Partner closely with maintenance technicians, engineering, production, quality, and supply chain to coordinate maintenance readiness
- 2–3 years of maintenance planning and scheduling experience within a mechanical or manufacturing environment
- Strong understanding of maintenance work orders, job planning, parts inventory, and scheduling
- Proficiency with CMMS platforms and the ability to adapt to new maintenance systems
- Strong Microsoft Excel skills, including formulas, along with proficiency in Word and the broader Microsoft Office suite
- Excellent organizational and multitasking skills with the ability to manage competing priorities
- Strong interpersonal skills with the confidence to work effectively with maintenance technicians, plant leadership, and cross-functional teams
- Chemical manufacturing, automotive manufacturing, or a similar industrial background is preferred
