Maintenance Manager Responsibilities
- Manage a team of three maintenance technicians, ensuring effective performance and collaboration
- Coordinate maintenance schedules and oversee the repair of machinery
- Utilize a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) to track work orders and preventative maintenance
- Provide training and coaching to team members to enhance their skills
- Maintain knowledge of PLC and controls to guide team in repairs
- Organize parts orders for machinery repairs and ensure timely completion of tasks
- Foster a positive work culture and mend relationships between departments
- 2 years of experience as a Maintenance Manager
- 7 years of total experience in maintenance or a related field
- Experience with electrical and mechanical gearboxes
- Experience with conveyor belts
- PLC/Controls experience is required
- Electrical knowledge is beneficial
- Plumbing knowledge is beneficial
- CMMS experience is preferred
- Food industry background is preferred, especially with SQF certification
- Refrigeration background is preferred
- Mechanical/electrical experience is preferred
