Luxury Sales Consultant Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree required
- 5 years of experience working with high-end clientele, preferably in luxury sales
- Proven success in selling to high-net-worth individuals with significant transaction values
- Strong proactive outreach, communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and self-motivated with disciplined follow-up
- Proficiency in Salesforce and CRM platforms
- Exceptional discretion, professionalism, and client sensitivity
- Willingness to travel frequently for client visits, installations, and trade shows
- Flexible availability, including weekends and occasional evenings
- Ability to lift or move objects up to 25 lbs. and stand for long periods
- Leadership experience in a luxury retail or gallery setting, and experience overseeing gallery functions is preferred
- Build and nurture a robust client list consistent with gallery demographics
- Develop and execute business development strategies and marketing campaigns
- Meet and exceed annual sales goals through proactive, consultative selling
- Conduct gallery tours, assist walk-in clients, and deliver story-driven presentations
- Research and master provenance, history, and value of inventory items
- Initiate and close sales transactions efficiently and professionally
- Coordinate shipping, installation, and client logistics
- Participate in trade shows, exhibitions, and client visits to expand reach
- Maintain meticulous records of client interactions and sales activity within CRM
- Uphold confidentiality, trust, and discretion with high-net-worth clients
- Collaborate with support teams in Aspen and NOLA to ensure seamless service
