Responsibilities
- Manage ocean export shipments from origin to destination
- Coordinate shipping documentation and transportation logistics
- Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned clients
- Provide proactive shipment updates and maintain strong client communication
- Resolve shipment issues and customer concerns
- Coordinate with carriers, vendors, and internal teams
- Manage billing and shipment-related administrative tasks
- Monitor shipment progress and ensure on-time delivery
- Maintain accurate shipment records and documentation
- 3 years of ocean export logistics experience
- Experience working within freight forwarding or logistics environments
- Knowledge of ocean export operations, including containerized and roll-on/roll-off shipments
- Magaya experience
- Bachelor's degree
- Additional freight forwarding software experience
- 50% healthcare coverage with an approximate employee cost of $400/month
- 401k eligibility after one year with company contributions based on performance
- PTO includes 5 days after 6 months and an additional 8 days on the anniversary date
