Ironworker Responsibilities
- Travel to various customer job sites and perform structural and ornamental ironworking
- Erect the skeleton of buildings and bridges by lifting, placing, and connecting steel beams and columns
- Install, assemble, or repair fabricated metal pieces such as stairways, railings, fencing, and curtain walls
- Weld using Innershield NR-233 and perform rigging safely
- Operate forklifts and boom lifts as needed
- 3-5 years of ironworking experience on structural and ornamental, with a strong preference for both
- NR233 welding experience
- Willingness to travel extensively and work long hours, 5-6 days a week, with one trip home every 3-4 weeks
- 5 years of ironworking experience is preferred
- Ability to grow into a foreman role within 1-2 years is preferred
- Comfort with staying with other ironworkers at an Airbnb during assignments is preferred
- Experience operating a forklift and boom lift proficiently and safely is preferred
- All personal protective equipment and welding equipment are provided
- Flexible time off with up to 2-4 weeks off per year, with prior notice
- HSA match available, though healthcare coverage is not provided
