HVAC Commissioning Engineer Responsibilities
- Manage commissioning plans, schedules, and budgets
- Review design and construction documents
- Develop and oversee system testing and performance verification
- Identify issues in design or construction and help drive solutions
- Coordinate with architects, engineers, contractors, and clients
- Prepare clear, detailed reports with findings and recommendations
- 5 years of experience
- Journeyman-level HVAC/mechanical experience is considered
- Ability to read and interpret construction documents
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or equivalent field experience
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office
- Strong knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire protection, and building automation systems
- Commissioning experience is preferred
- Commissioning certification (CCP, BCxP, or similar) is preferred
- E.I.T. or P.E. is preferred
