Lehigh Valley - General Liability Or Workers’ Compensation Responsibilities
- Work collaboratively with partners, attorneys, paralegals, and legal assistants
- Handle assigned legal matters with oversight
- Assist with cases from inception to post-trial
- Communicate with clients to keep them informed about case statuses
- Prepare pleadings, motions, and other litigation documents
- Conduct court appearances and mediation sessions
- Perform research as required for various cases
- Conduct direct and cross-examinations of expert witnesses at trial
- 1-4 years of General Liability and/or Workers’ Compensation experience
- Defense experience is preferred, but plaintiff experience will be considered
- Experience taking and defending depositions for candidates with 3 or more years of experience
- Knowledge of discovery processes
- Experience drafting pleadings and motions
- Trial experience is preferred
- Must be barred in the relevant state
- Flexibility and adaptability in a team-oriented environment is preferred
