Responsibilities
- Estimate refrigeration installations and replacements
- Review floor plans and scope installations
- Perform installations of condensing units, glycol systems, and insulated flooring
- Conduct site visits and create accurate estimates using Excel
- Coordinate with client electricians for project completion
- Travel to project sites as necessary and manage per diem and lodging
- Support sales lead generation through bidding platforms
- Help establish and lead an in-house installation team
- Attend office meetings and maintain punctuality
- 5–6 years of hands-on refrigeration installation experience in new construction and commissioning
- Experience with heavy equipment, including glycol systems and 12 HP condensing units
- Valid licenses and certifications as required
- Leadership experience with a focus on training and department building
- Willingness to travel regionally and work hybrid from the Walnut Creek office
- Ability to produce accurate refrigeration estimates using Excel
- Punctuality and a flexible team player mentality
- Prior experience leading an in-house installation team is preferred
- Familiarity with bidding platforms and basic sales support is preferred
- Comfort selecting and using estimation software is preferred
