Case Manager Responsibilities
- Manage a full pre-litigation caseload from intake through case transfer
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, providing clear and professional updates
- Answer inbound calls and respond to client questions with confidence and accuracy
- Track case progress and next steps, understanding timelines and requirements
- Collect, draft, send, and follow up on records and required documentation
- Maintain detailed, accurate notes in all case files for every action taken
- Handle property damage coordination and client treatment scheduling as applicable
- Monitor mail, scan documents, and manage outgoing correspondence
- Ensure all files are complete, organized, and ready for handoff when appropriate
- Collaborate with internal team members while independently managing daily priorities
- Minimum 1 year of experience as a Case Manager or Pre-Litigation Paralegal for a law firm
- Hands-on pre-litigation experience required
- Strong client-facing communication skills with excellent phone etiquette
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail and follow-through
- Confident documenting case activity and maintaining accurate records
- Comfortable managing deadlines and multiple priorities independently
- Experience working with case management and document systems
