Sales Account Manager Responsibilities
- Prospect aggressively through high-volume cold calls, emails, and in-person drop-ins
- Build relationships with buyers across OEMs, CMs, and semiconductor accounts
- Manage a 50/50 mix of cold outreach and expansion of existing accounts
- Attend client visits, lunches, dinners, and events; meet with customers in person weekly
- Manage the full sales cycle: proposal, PO input in SAP, purchasing follow-through, and final shipment approval
- Track account activity and KPIs using Quick Base CRM and SAP Business One
- Drive revenue across semiconductor products, warehousing, testing, and GMI programs
- Maintain pipeline discipline and consistent outreach
- Collaborate with purchasing, accounting, and warehouse/testing teams to ensure flawless order fulfillment
- Deliver exceptional customer service, rapid follow-up, and strategic account penetration
- 5 years of supply chain and semiconductor sales experience required
- Experience selling into OEMs and CMs strongly preferred
- Strong communication, relationship-building, and cold outreach skills
- Resilient, competitive, and able to handle frequent rejection
- Comfortable with KPIs and high-activity sales environments
- Outgoing, confident, and money-driven with strong mental fortitude
- Bachelor’s degree preferred (experience considered in lieu)
- Ability to work onsite in San Jose
- Willingness to meet after-hours if clients need it
