Job Summary:
The Registered Nurse (RN) at Bourbon Community Hospital provides comprehensive medical-surgical care by assessing patient conditions, developing and implementing nursing care plans, and collaborating with healthcare teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assesses the patient's condition and nursing care needs
- Sets goals and prescribes appropriate nursing interventions to meet physical, psychological, social and rehabilitative needs of patients
- Develops individual nursing care plans
- Implements care plans and makes revisions as needed
- Evaluates patient care outcomes
- Collaborates with physicians and other hospital employees
- Administers medications, treatments and therapies
- Communicates with patients and oversees provision of care
- Accurately documents nursing observations, assessments, medications, treatments, and other care given
Requirements:
- Associate's degree in nursing Required; Bachelor's Degree in Nursing Preferred
- Current RN to practice in the state of KY
