Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Medical-Surgical ICU team at Bourbon Community Hospital. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality patient care through assessment, care planning, and implementation of individual nursing interventions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess patients' conditions and develop individualized nursing care plans
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to evaluate patient outcomes and ensure health and wellness in our community
- Administer medications, treatments, and therapies as prescribed by physicians
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams
- Accurately document nursing observations, assessments, medications, treatments, and other care given
Requirements:
- Associate's degree in nursing (Bachelor's degree preferred)
- Current RN licensure in the state of KY
- Strong understanding of nursing practices and compassionate communication skills
