What are the responsibilities and job description for the Support Staff position at Bourbon and Branch?
We are seeking hard working individuals to join our team as a Support Staff here at Bourbon & Branch. Candidate must have strong communication skills, organized, enforce policies and procedure, positive attitude/energy and strong understanding of the bar/restaurant industry.
Responsibilities
- Deliver food orders from the kitchen to customers’ tables rapidly and accurately
- Food Running/Busser/Bar Back
- Act as the contact point between Front of the House and Back of the House staff
- Assist the wait staff with table setting by fetching and placing appropriate tableware, eating utensils and napkins
- Ensure food is served in accordance with safety standards (e.g. proper temperature)
- Helping the team by bussing tables, cutting fruit, preparing bar garnishes, etc.
- Set up/break down of the bars
- DOH standards practiced and enforced
Skills/Experience:
- Understanding of hygiene and food safety rules
- Organizing kitchen tickets to efficiently and accurately send food to guests
- Physical ability to carry heavy trays
- Availability to work various shifts, including weekends
- Multi-tasking abilities
- Good oral communication skills
- Ability to remain calm and professional in a fast-paced work environment
