Bounce Curl is looking for a dynamic and creative Social Media Coordinator to join our team. In this role, you will play a pivotal role in developing and executing our social media strategy to enhance brand awareness for our online & Sephora presence, engage our community, and drive sales.
You will be responsible for managing all social media platforms, creating compelling content, and fostering meaningful interactions with our audiences. Additionally, you will collaborate cross-functionally to align social media efforts with overall marketing objectives and initiatives. This position is Monday - Friday in the office with required remote posting and engagement on weekends.
What You’ll Do
- Create and curate engaging social media content across platforms, including Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Facebook, Threads, Pinterest, LinkedIn, and Snapchat.
- Capture and edit in-house content featuring stylists, clients, team members, and product demonstrations.
- Produce educational tutorials, styling videos, and product-focused content highlighting ingredients, benefits, and science-backed hair care.
- Collaborate with stylists, influencers, and models to develop compelling salon and lifestyle content.
- Manage the social media calendar, ensuring content is planned and scheduled at least one month in advance.
- Write platform-specific captions and messaging tailored to different audiences.
- Execute engagement campaigns including giveaways, contests, and community activations.
- Host or support TikTok and Amazon Live sessions and assist with content for paid campaigns.
- Monitor performance metrics and provide insights to optimize engagement, reach, and conversions.
- Stay up to date on social media trends, platform features, and competitor strategies.
What You Bring
- 2 years of content creation experience with a beauty industry company, brand, or agency.
- Strong photo and video content creation skills with an aesthetic sensibility and attention to detail.
- Comfortable filming content and participating in live sessions (e.g., TikTok Live, Amazon Live, or similar).
- Experience managing multiple social media platforms and content calendars.
- Ability to create platform-specific content and messaging tailored to different audiences.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and manage deadlines.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to review social performance data and apply insights to improve engagement and reach.
- Collaborative team player with strong communication skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
Bonus If You Have
- Experience working with beauty brands, salons, or influencer partnerships.
- Familiarity with social media scheduling tools, analytics platforms, Canva, and project management tools such as Asana.
- Experience capturing live content at events, influencer activations, or brand shoots.
- Experience supporting paid social content or ad campaign production.
