What are the responsibilities and job description for the Analyst position at Boulo Solutions?
Boulo is partnering with a Commercial Real Estate firm in Birmingham, AL looking to hire an Investment Analyst to join their team. Reporting to the Director, Acquisitions. The Investment Analyst is a member of the investment team and is responsible for assisting in sourcing investment properties and assisting Investment Team members. The Analyst will assist in tracking, analyzing, underwriting, and closing investment opportunities as well as coordinate property transitions. If you are a recent grad in finance, economics, accounting or statistics, with up to 3 years experience we would love to talk to you!
Essential Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
• Maintain and administer detailed files and folders on each potential acquisition and dead deals
• Develop and maintain financial models for potential acquisitions (Argus, VAL, and MS Excel)
• Develop underwriting assumptions and create one-page property evaluations to efficiently assess the viability of new investment opportunities
• Underwrite investment opportunities and conduct market research
• Assist in developing Investment Committee, fundraising and financing packages
• Assist in business development by managing Broker Relationship database and broker marketing plans
• Assist in broker relationship building and business development including attending industry events, conferences, and trade shows
• Track demographic and commercial real estate market trends in targeted geographies
• Coordinate the acquisition and due diligence process including but not limited to Letter(s) of Intents, market analysis, lease abstracting, 3rd party reports, financial analysis and developing property business plans
• Manage due diligence process and timelines
• Assist with property transitions
• Additional items as directed by other members of Management
