Responsibilities:
-Develop and maintain extensive knowledge of wines, including varietals, regions and vintages. -Provide expert advice and recommendations to customers, helping them select wines that meet their needs and preferences. -Helping receive orders and putting away in appropriate places.
- Greet and assist customers in a friendly and professional manner
- Provide product information and recommendations to customers
- Process customer transactions accurately and efficiently
- Maintain a clean and organized sales floor
- Stocking shelves with cases and bottles as required (including in the walk-in cooler)
- Assist with inventory management and replenishment
- Meet or exceed sales goals
- Provide exceptional customer service at all times
- Must be able to lift 40lbs
Experience:
- Previous retail experience preferred
- Ability to perform heavy lifting and physical tasks as needed
- Familiarity with retail math and cash handling procedures
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Bilingual/multilingual skills are a plus
