- Responds to to Tier 1 and Tier 2 level Helpdesk requests with telecommunications issues.
- Managestelephony issues and security related incidents surrounding PBX, specifically 3CX.
- Maintainhardware inventory for all BMC phones, headsets, and PBX equipment. Participates as a team-member for the configuration and installation of telecommunications hardware/software.
- Performstechnical review and analysis recommending technology solutions and direction as needed.
- Assists with all automated faxing architecture and routing as well as support for printing and fax issues.
- Performs on-call rotations based on needs of the medical center.
- Works closely with other IT member on various projects throughout the environment.
Skills and Abilities:
- Must possess advanced knowledge and understanding of Microsoft operating systems.
- Knowledge and understanding of Linux operating systems is a plus.
- A working knowledge of networking basics, virtualization, and SAN technologies is a plus.
- Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills. Must be able to demonstrate patience and flexibility when responding to end-user needs and requests.
- Bachelordegree in computer science, Information Systems, Engineering or equivalent combination of experience and/or education.
- Must have 3 years' experience analyzing, planning and supporting systems in a multi-site, networked environment, preferred.
- IT experience in a healthcare setting, highly desired.
- Hiring range is $78,000 - $97,000 / annually; depending on experience
