Examples of Duties
- Implement a Quality Control/Quality Assurance project in Boulder County Mosquito Control District
- Conduct inspections and analysis of larval development sites and adult trapping locations, documenting efficacy of larval and adult control operations
- Provide education and outreach to residents regarding mosquito control around their home
- Submit regular reports and final results of the quality assurance period
- Perform data analysis to assist program planning
- Performs related work, as required
- May be reassigned during emergency situations

- 1 (one) year of experience performing technical tasks in the surveillance of larval and adult mosquitoes and control applications
- GIS experience
- Knowledge in mosquito control efforts
- Ability to perform field data collection using standard mosquito sampling techniques
- Ability to use standard computer software, including Microsoft Office
- Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with coworkers, clients, outside agencies and the public
