Boulder County Public Works Department is seeking to hire a Custodian. Custodian is a journey level classification. Working in a diverse and inclusive environment, the custodian performs a variety of unskilled and semi-skilled duties in the routine maintenance of County buildings.
This is a full-time, benefited position that will work Monday - Thursday 4:30pm - 1:30am, Friday 4:30pm - 10:30pm. This position will work out of 2525 13th St suite 203, Boulder, Colorado. Under Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) guidelines, this position is non-exempt (eligible for overtime).
Boulder County requires its employees to reside in the state of Colorado as of the first day of work.
Hiring Salary Range: $50,004.00 - $54,042.00 Annually
Tentative Hiring Timeline

- Sweeps, mops, scrubs, waxes, and polishes floors
- Washes windows, screens, sills, woodwork, doors, desks, walls and ceilings
- Cleans and disinfects restrooms
- Dusts, cleans and disinfects and vacuums offices, and meeting rooms
- Locks and unlocks doors to secure work area
- Collects and disposes of trash, recycling and compostable materials
- Shampoos and extracts carpets
- Site and work assignments are based on need and can change at any time
- Performs related work, as required
- May be reassigned during emergency situations
