Responsibilities
- Manage office duties, greeting visitors and directing them appropriately with professional phone etiquette
- Operate phone systems, handle incoming calls, and route messages efficiently
- Perform data entry and maintain accurate filing systems both digitally and physically
- Utilize Microsoft Office Suite and Google Workspace tools for document creation, editing, and organization
- Support office management tasks such as calendar management, appointment scheduling, and meeting coordination
- Assist with bookkeeping tasks using QuickBooks or similar accounting software
- Provide clerical support including proofreading documents, managing correspondence, and supporting customer service efforts
- Maintain office supplies inventory and coordinate procurement as needed
- Offer customer support via phone or email, ensuring positive interactions and timely responses
Requirements
- Preferred experience in an office environment or administrative role with strong organizational skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Google Workspace applications
- Able to ask questions to gain a better understanding
- Familiarity with QuickBooks or other bookkeeping software is preferred
- Excellent typing speed and data entry skills with high accuracy levels
- Strong communication skills with professional phone etiquette
- Previous experience as a receptionist is advantageous
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining attention to detail
- Knowledge of office management practices including filing systems, calendar management, and document proofreading
- Ability to adapt quickly to new software tools and office procedures
- Strong time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
Hourly wage negotiable depending upon experience, background, and qualifications.
