We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Machine Shop Worker to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical knowledge and experience in operating various machinery, including press machines and welding press. This role is essential for fabricating high-quality components according to specifications and ensuring that all products meet our standards. The role does assembly of metal pieces that hold medals for military service.
Duties
- Operate machines and other machine shop equipment to fabricate parts to spec.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols at all times.
- Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot issues and improve production processes.
- Safe material handling within the shop as needed.
Experience
- Proven experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred.
- Familiarity with smaller press machines is preferred.
- Experience using hand tools and precision measuring instruments.
- Forklift certification is a plus but not mandatory; training may be provided.
