Job Summary
We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Cleaner to join our team! We are looking for someone to work weekends. In this vital role, you will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and sanitation across various areas, ensuring a safe, hygienic, and inviting environment for our guests and staff. Your enthusiasm for cleanliness and customer service will help uphold the high standards that make Bottom Creek a special place.
Responsibilities
- Perform thorough cleaning of indoor spaces including floors, surfaces, bathrooms, kitchens, and common areas using appropriate cleaning detergents and equipment
- Implement cleaning and sanitation procedures to ensure compliance with health standards
- Conduct floor care activities such as sweeping, mopping, carpet cleaning, and polishing to maintain pristine surfaces
- Handle laundry tasks efficiently, including washing, drying, folding, and organizing linens or uniforms
- Manage manual handling tasks involving using cleaning supplies safely and effectively
- Maintain outdoor work areas by sweeping walkways, cleaning outdoor furniture, and ensuring the exterior is tidy
- Communicate professionally with clients or staff regarding specific cleaning needs or requests
Experience
- Prior janitorial or custodial experience preferred; experience in residential housekeeping or outdoor cleaning is a plus
- Familiarity with cleaning surfaces such as glass, wood, tile, using appropriate techniques
- Knowledge of cleaning equipment including vacuums, floor buffers, pressure washers, and other tools
- Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently throughout shifts
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly with clients or team members
