Associate Attorney

Position Overview:

We are seeking a bright, dedicated, enthusiastic and empathetic Associate Attorney to join our team. The ideal candidate will be comfortable managing a diverse caseload and will demonstrate a high level of professionalism while thriving in a team-oriented culture. This role requires a strong work ethic, excellent communication skills and a passion for helping clients navigate challenging legal issues such as a divorce, an accident, criminal charges or protecting their assets through estate planning. This position will offer a unique opportunity to develop a wide-ranging legal skill set. No matter your legal experience or areas of interest, we would like to hear from you to see if you will be a good fit for us and we will be a good fit for you.

Responsibilities:

▪Conduct consultations with clients to effectively discuss and assess needs and provide legal guidance

▪Maintain regular and consistent contact with clients ensuring that every interaction reflects the firm’s commitment to exceptional service

▪Draft, review and finalize legal documents for a wide-range of case types, including but not limited to pleadings, motions, discovery requests and answers, trusts, powers of attorney, wills and legal agreements.

▪Represent clients in various court proceedings and hearings, effectively advocating for them and adhering to Court rules and procedural requirements

▪Stay current on developments in Illinois law to ensure proper guidance and up to date     knowledge

Qualifications:

Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school

Admission to the Illinois Bar

3-5 years of experience preferred, but all levels will be considered

Strong legal knowledge and analytical skills

Ability to work on site in Crystal Lake, Illinois

Knowledgeable in Word, Outlook, Odyssey, Adobe and Smokeball (preferred)

Bilingual in Spanish is a plus
