Role Description
Botifex is seeking a Part-Time Sales Associate to help develop new B2B opportunities and grow our client base.
In this role, you will research prospective clients, conduct outbound outreach, connect with business owners and decision-makers, qualify opportunities, and help determine whether Botifex is a good fit for their business.
Responsibilities may include:
- Researching and identifying prospective B2B clients
- Conducting personalized outreach through LinkedIn, email, and other channels
- Communicating with business owners and decision-makers
- Qualifying leads and identifying potential software opportunities
- Scheduling and participating in product demonstrations and sales calls
- Following up with prospects throughout the sales process
- Maintaining accurate lead and customer information in our CRM
- Assisting with proposals and moving qualified opportunities toward a closed deal
- Working directly with the Botifex team to improve our sales process
This is a part-time, remote position with flexible scheduling. The role is well suited for someone who is self-motivated, comfortable communicating with businesses, and interested in gaining real-world experience in sales, technology, and entrepreneurship.
Compensation
This is a commission-based position with a 12%–20% commission on closed software deals.
Botifex projects typically range from approximately $1,500 to $40,000 , depending on the client's needs and project scope.
Associates start at 12% commission, with opportunities to increase their commission rate up to 20% based on performance and results.
Examples:
- $1,500 deal → $180–$300 commission
- $5,000 deal → $600–$1,000 commission
- $10,000 deal → $1,200–$2,000 commission
- $40,000 deal → $4,800–$8,000 commission
Qualifications
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Comfortable initiating conversations with new people
- Professional and confident when communicating with business owners
- Self-motivated and able to work independently
- Strong organizational and time-management skills

- Willingness to learn about software, sales, and business development
- Previous experience in sales, marketing, customer service, entrepreneurship, or business is a plus, but not required
