What are the responsibilities and job description for the Certified Engineer Diver - Underwater Structures (31335) position at Boswell?

As we continue to grow in 2025, we are eager to add another Engineer Diver to our Underwater Structural and Civil Engineering Team. As a Certified Engineer Diver, you will be responsible for underwater assessments and other duties (see below) based out of our South Hackensack, NJ office.
Responsibilities include:
- Perform condition surveys and structural assessments of marine facilities, waterfront structures, and water-spanning bridge substructure
- Writing reports of findings with recommendations for correcting deficiencies including the preparation of repair designs
- Adhere to internal standards, policies, and procedures
- Oversee and help train/ mentor designers and design engineers
Minimum Qualifications:
- 4-year Engineering Degree from an accredited university (Civil or Structural Engineering preferred)
- Certified graduate of a commercial dive school
- Professional Engineer license preferred
- ADCI surface-supplied air diver certification
- Minimum of 3 years of documented experience performing condition surveys and structural assessments of marine facilities and water-spanning bridge substructures
- AutoCAD and/ or AutoCAD Civil 3D design experience required

Salary : $90,000 - $110,000
