Certified Commercial Diver & Professional Engineer - Underwater Structures

As we continue to grow in 2025, we are eager to add another Professional Engineer and Certified Diver to our Underwater Structural and Civil Engineering Team. As an Engineer Diver, you will be responsible for underwater assessments and other duties (see below) based out of our South Hackensack, NJ office. We offer unique growth paths and paid overtime when worked.
Responsibilities include:
- Perform condition surveys and structural assessments of marine facilities, waterfront structures, and water-spanning bridge substructure
- Writing reports of findings with recommendations for correcting deficiencies including the preparation of repair designs
- Adhere to internal standards, policies, and procedur
- Oversee and help train/ mentor designers and design engineers
Minimum Qualifications:
- 4-year Engineering Degree from an accredited university (Civil or Structural Engineering preferred)
- Certified graduate of a commercial dive school
- Professional Engineer license preferred
- ADCI surface-supplied air diver certification
- Minimum of 3 years of documented experience performing condition surveys and structural assessments of marine facilities and water-spanning bridge substructures
- AutoCAD and/ or AutoCAD Civil 3D design experience required
