Provide reception coverage at the front desk; answer phones, greet participants and visitors. Assist the Research Center staff in the afternoons. Answer, screen and forward incoming phone calls. Greet and welcome visitors and study participants; notify staff of visitor arrival. Maintain office security by following safety procedures and controlling access via the reception desk (monitor logbook, issue visitor badges). Sort and distribute mail daily. Ensure reception area is tidy and presentable. Perform other duties such as assembling mailings or kits, as well as assisting the Exam Center staff with participant activities (mainly in the afternoon); providing snacks to participants, stocking inventory & laundry, and being available to direct participants to their next activity.
