What are the responsibilities and job description for the Document Controller position at Boston Technology Corp?
Configuration and Document control specialist
Responsible for the configuration management of products and product documentation at the site.
They will develop configuration management plans, be responsible for configuration identification, implement configuration change control, be responsible for configuration status accounting, and configuration verification audits.
Maintain the site’s current configuration management system and work with engineering management to identify and implement improvements
Facilitate the Change Control Board to discuss proposed engineering changes with various internal stakeholders and potentially external customers
Experience with Enterprise Product Data Management (EPDM), SolidWorks, SAP and revision control systems preferred
Experience with DoD programs and US Government change processes (ECPs, etc.) preferred
Familiarity with mechanical and electrical engineering drawing practices
Familiarity with facilitating a Configuration Change Control Board preferred
Able to obtain DOD Secret clearance.
