Job Description:
Under the supervision of the Operating Room Supervisor, the OR RN maintains the health and welfare of a patient before, during and after the surgical procedure. Through assessment of the patient and procedures, the OR RN anticipates the needs of the surgical team and provides such services while maintaining an aseptic and safe environment. The OR RN is a self-motivated professional and resource person who supports the mission and nursing philosophy of Northern Montana Health Care.
Job Requirements:
MT nursing license BSN preferred. Ability to problem solve; critical thinking skills; effective verbal and written communication skills. Knowledge base to include nursing assessment and skills for all age groups. BLS certification required and ACLS certification preferred.
