Position Overview:
The BOH Supervisor is responsible for overseeing kitchen operations, managing BOH staff, maintaining cleanliness, ensuring food quality, and enforcing safety and sanitation standards. This role requires strong leadership, organization, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and support kitchen staff to ensure efficient operation.
- Maintain food quality, portion control, and presentation standards.
- Monitor kitchen inventory, order supplies, and minimize waste.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation regulations.
- Train and develop BOH staff to enhance skills and performance.
- Assist with scheduling, staffing, and conflict resolution.
- Work closely with the FOH team to ensure a seamless dining experience.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a kitchen leadership role (Supervisor, Lead Cook, or similar).
- Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and kitchen operations.
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently under pressure.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- ServSafe Certification (or ability to obtain).
